Tom

Tom,
I'd appreciate if you could forward this email to TSA members. We are planning two hiking activities for the upcoming week and will be glad to see friends from your association there. Anybody that is interested can write an email to esa.binghamton@gmail.com

For those of you who stay in Binghamton during the spring break and have time,
here are two suggestions for one day trips that we (ESA) agreed on with BOP:

Trip
to Ice Caves in Catskills - Monday,
April 6, 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m, $10 sign up fee (incl. transportation)

Detailed
description: Tucked away in the Catskills, the ice caves are just one
fascinating aspect of this hike. Spectacular vistas, waterfalls and awe
inspiring landscapes. This is a day hike that has it all! Pack a lunch, plenty
of water, snack and a camera. This is a full 9 mile hike over rolling terrain.
Good endurance, essential clothing for the weather and well fitting hiking
shoes/boots are a must. Come well rested. This is guaranteed to be a big day.

Rickett's
Glen Water Falls Hike - Wednesday, April 8,
9a.m.-6:30p.m., $10 (incl. transportation)

Detailed
description: This is a moderately strenuous hike of 7.5 miles up one side
and down the other side of a broad bottom canyon, past 22 named waterfalls, up
rock staircases and through a boulder tunnel. How cool is that? Get up early on
a Wednesday morning to find out! Bring along a small pack with snacks and
plenty of water for the day. Sturdy hiking boots are highly recommended. Essential
clothing for the weather is a must (rain gear, jacket).

Let
us know whether you are interested in one (or both) of these trips. Provided we
have 6 people, the trip will be officially anounced and it will actually
happen.

Enjoy your last week before the spring break,

---
